Charan hails from the exotic landscape of Chennai, India. In 1987, at the age of 6, his family moved to America and he grew up in an even more exotic location: Utah. As a kid (and even now) he used to daydream a lot and pretend he was off on his many conquests. Luckily he found ways to put these "hobbies" to good use when he discovered the world of acting. In high school, he took his first drama class and was hooked. Since then, he's acted in various plays and movies including High School Musical 1, 2, and Abandoned Mine.
In 2009, he moved to LA to pursue his daydreaming, pretending career to greater heights. He's since acted in commercials, features, and TV series such as Silicon Valley, Code Black, Scorpion, and Angie Tribeca.
In addition to acting, Charan is also a film/TV producer. His company Bellpond has a Youtube Channel with over 60 million views. He is actively creating content in various formats.
